The farm has a rich red soil, which is ideal for the local grass, Panicuim Maxuim, which has a high yield.
Dipping is done every two weeks in the summer and every six weeks in the winter.
There is a excellent local vet located in Vilankulos town and a provincial vet in Mbane.
Cattle handling facilities include 2 dip ( spray race ) stations with handling facilities for 300 head each, loading ramps and a crush.
The area has abundant under ground water, and the farm has two boreholes with solar pumps on 3 phase producing approximately 7000 litres per hour, which is piped to 12 by 60,000 litre storage tanks for cattle and domestic use.
The farm is approximately 85 to 90 meters above sea level.
A main two bedroom house and guest cottage, supplied with solar power on the farm and the residential area is fully security fenced.

The farm lies east of Vilankulos and is accessed by good gravel roads off the EN1 main tar road with access from both sides of the farm approximately 10 kilometers off the main road.
