Huize Ravenstein in Buurmalsen is beautifully located at the idyllic Lingedijk on a plot of approx. 7,000 m2. All around there is an amazing view on the orchards and meadows of the Betuwe. A connection to the English manor appearance from the 19th century was the aim for the renovation as done under the leadership of restoration architect Wim Mazzola. Interior
No expense or effort was spared to implement the 19th century style up to the smallest details. All quarters exude their own atmosphere and include classical elements like stucco ceilings with ornaments, panel doors, sliding windows, fireplaces with marble fireplaces, wooden wainscoting and radiator boxes, and they come with a marble floor or herringbone parquet. Comfort was also considered. All windows feature double glazing, the stone floors come with floor heating and various quarters include a fireplace. The rural kitchen arrangement features all kind of appliances, including a Lacanche stove. The two storeys each contain five rooms. The five royal bedrooms all have their own or a combined luxurious bathroom with double washstand, detached bath, separate shower and toilet.

Layout
Ground floor
The entrance with vestibule leads to the central staircase via a passage. Located adjacent to it are at the front a study with library, reception area with doors to a front terrace and a TV/sitting room. Furthermore, there is a dining room, a large kitchen diner with access to the terrace (west) and a toilet with tour portal. The living room of 91 m2 at the back features an old English tile floor and 14 arched windows with opening doors to the second terrace (northeast) with access to the garden.

First floor

Huize Ravenstein is at a very central location at 500 metres distance from the centre of Geldermalsen with all its amenities, including NS station at the crossroads of the north-south and east-west lines. It is only 30 minutes by car or train to Utrecht or Den Bosch.
