Ievalaukis, a sports and recreation centre, in a 6-hectare forest area in Aukštaitija National Park, Ignalina district, is offered for sale.
Established in 2009, the business has successfully operated up to date: it hosts CrossFit camps and sessions which paved the way to professional sports for some well-known athletes. It is used for conferences, festivals or simply for relaxation in nature – the lake of Dringis with a beach and a sauna house are within the boundaries of the land plot. Although the location seems remote and private, it can be accessed easily and conveniently – on an asphalt road.
The owners, who have developed the spaces in a targeted manner, had a vision to create a place where a modern-day person who has a busy and intense life and is passionate about sports could have a place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city and pursue his sports-related goals. This genuine attitude is reflected in the environment and in the sustainable interior design – quality materials have been used to fit into the natural landscape of the park.
The complex includes nine wooden buildings which are offered for sale with all equipment and furniture: a big owners’ house which has never been rented, three buildings for rural tourism, a hall for banquets and conferences with guest rooms, a sports hall with professional equipment, a sauna, a boiler house and a summer house. The houses can accommodate 55 people. But the most interesting structures are eight hives which revive as the summer season comes!
Outdoor spaces for sports are smartly designed: there are three courts: two – for beach tennis and one – for volleyball. There is still plenty of space for future projects – almost half of the land plot is of agricultural purpose; therefore, it can be used for sustainable farming and animal husbandry, or it can be used for setting up a new business or start a new life style.
There is a modern biofuel boiler house and central heating system with individual control function for each building. Rooftop solar panels have been installed to contribute to a more sustainable environment and reduce electricity costs. The place is much liked both by local communities and visitors from abroad. The complex has developed an impeccable image, great feedbacks can be found on the platforms of tourism industry, social media and business registers.
