Via Giosue' Carducci
Just a few minutes from the heart of Verona, one of the most fascinating Italian Art Cities, close to the shores of the river Adige, is located this prestigious historic property consisting of the main building, composed of different units and a walled garden. The first nucleus has medieval origins and, as typical of historic buildings, it underwent many interventions and embellishments during the following centuries, as the elegant stairway and the portals of stone added during the 17th Century or the fascinating frescoes dating back to the beginning of the 18th Century. On the noble floor we find interesting architectural and artistic details: the central hall shows an interesting cycle of frescoes and the doors are framed by an elegant architectural element representing historical figures. From the central hall, two rooms open up both adorned with precious stucco decorations and frescoes from the early 18th Century representing mythological figures. Some of the rooms preserve the beautiful Venetian terrace floor of the early 18th Century. At the moment the palace is undergoing restructuring: the project, approved by the Superintendency for Cultural Heritage of Verona, provides for the construction of different housing units, some of which for residential use, others for managerial use. Parking places and cellars available.
