Usher Lists West Hollywood Home for $4.2 Million

R&B star Usher has listed his home in the West Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles for $4.2 million.

The Spanish Contemporary house dates back to 1926, accordingto the listing. It is located on the same block as the landmark Chateau Marmont Hotel.

The five-bedroom, six-bathroom home, which was listed on Feb. 15, has a master suite featuring a terrace and a marble-floor bathroom with a soaking tub and dual vanities. The master bathroom also features views of the city.

At more than 4,200 square feet, the house has an en-suite guest bedroom with a private entrance, a media room and a chef’s kitchen equipped with sterling steel Viking appliances.

Distinct architectural details can be found throughout the house, including a fireplace, French doors and dark hardwood floors.

The property also features a private patio with a plunge pool and outdoor dining space.

The house is just one block off Sunset Boulevard, a major commercial thoroughfare home to restaurants and entertainment venues.

According to public records, the house was last purchased in 2015 by a Delaware-based limited liability corporation linked on the deed to How U Hear It Inc, which lists Usher as its chief executive officer, secretary and chief financial officer.

The listing agent for the property from Hilton & Hyland declined to comment.

The house last sold for $3,367,500, according to Realtor.com.

Usher, 39, has had nine No. 1 singles on Billboard’s Hot 100, including "Yeah!," "U Got It Bad" and "OMG."

Usher’s representatives at William Morris Endeavor declined to comment. The managing agent listed on the deed did not respond to request for comment.
