A resort-style property in the Polo Club of Boca Raton, Florida, will be auctioned live on April 22, Mansion Global has learned.
According to the public records, the 12,000-square-foot residence was once home to Roger Shiffman, founder of toy companies Tiger Inc. and Zizzle, which produce popular toys including Furby and Disney’s "Pirates of the Caribbean" action figures.

Mr. Shiffman sold the house in August 2015 for $4.2 million to Civog Family LLC, the owner of which is a financier and real estate investor, according to Trayor Lesnock, president of Platinum Luxury Auctions, which is handling the sale.
Located in the gated community of Vintage Oaks, which is part of Polo Club of Boca Raton, "the house is well built with great design, featuring contemporary white-and-grey palettes," said Mr. Lesnock.
Most of the living space spreads out on the main level of the two-story structure, Mr. Lesnock said, adding that it’s situated on double sites of almost 1 acre, which is hard to find in Florida.
The property, overlooking a lake, has seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, two half-bathrooms, spacious dining and salon areas and a two-story wood-paneled library. Outdoors, there is a landscaped patio with a pool, spa and air-conditioned cabana.

The home theater, along with the house’s other audio and visual systems, coat Mr. Shiffman about $1 million to build.
The property, previously listed together with an adjacent parcel in 2016 for $6.999 million, will sell without reserve, meaning there will be no minimum bid. Interested buyers can also put in an advanced bid to be eligible for a discount.
In addition, a deposit of $150,000 is required, which will be refunded to non-winning bidders, according to Mr. Lesnock.
The parcel, currently serving as the south lawn of the main estate, is available for sale separately. This level, rectangular parcel measures nearly one-half acre in size. It can be newly developed for a separate residence.
