Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have sold off two adjacent homes in the posh Los Angeles suburb of Pacific Palisades.

The Academy Award winner and his actress wife, both 60, made off with $17.5 million for the two homes, according to property records, which show the couple’s lawyers signed the closing documents. The buyer of both properties was a limited liability company tied to a San Francisco compliance manager.

The eclectic two-mansion spread consisted of a larger, English country-style estate and a neighboring 1930s Spanish-style home.

The larger of the two properties has seven bedrooms and ample entertainment space, including a screening room, a pub-style billiards room with a wet bar and private gardens. The home has plenty of space for children, too, including a playroom on the third floor and a pool in the backyard, according to a listing with Berkshire Hathaway.

The 7,260-square-foot house sold for $10.158 million at the end of April as part of the double-deal. The sale was first reported by Variety.

The smaller home, at nearly 4,000 square feet, sold for $7.343 million. A completely different style, this casita built in 1933 has four bedrooms and a number of Spanish-style details, including tile floors, exposed beam ceilings and a tiled fountain in the backyard, according to photos of the property.
