Location: New Canaan, Connecticut Price: $8.275 million

It’s an offer that might entice any (wealthy) car enthusiast. The buyer of this three-story mansion will receive a generous gift with purchase: a 1998 Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph. The car has only 18,000 miles and is valued around $75,000.

The seller, of course, built a motor court that leads to the front of the home. Double doors swing open to the foyer, which features twin staircases and a shimmering chandelier. Formal rooms with soaring ceilings provide the perfect entertaining spaces, while a chef’s kitchen is equipped to cater any and all social events. A two-tiered veranda at the rear of the house overlooks the manicured grounds.

"It’s a home that really lends itself to a lifestyle of luxury," says listing agent Jennifer Leahy of Douglas Elliman Real Estate.

The Stats

The 12,385-square-foot house, built in 2008, sits on four acres. It has six bedrooms (with room for additions), six full bathrooms and two partial baths. "Every bathroom is made from marble," Leahy says.

Amenities

An elevator descends to the lower level, which offers a wine room, a bar, a game room and a full-service kitchen. For the health conscious, there’s a fitness center — equipped with a ping pong table — a sauna, and a steam shower. The third floor includes a screening room, as well as a crafts room for those with a creative streak.

Outside, residents can swim laps in the pool, or play a match on the tennis court. "It’s probably one of the few houses in New Canaan that had permission to build a tennis court," Leahy says.

Neighborhood Notes

The estate is located in New Canaan, not far from the town of Pound Ridge in New York’s Westchester County. "You have access to two towns, which is really nice," Leahy says.

Pound Ridge offers shopping, upscale dining, and an eponymous golf club, as well as public parks and local farms, ideal for apple picking in the cooler autumn months. Residents have included actor Richard Gere and news anchor Tom Brokaw.
