A new development atop Canyons Village, Utah, is offering 63 residences to avid skiers or anyone else who is interested in the mountain-top lifestyle.
Dubbed Apex Residences Park City, the compound is situated at the highest elevation-about 7,000 feet-in Canyons Village on a 10-acre parcel. It has direct access to 7,300 acres of skiable terrain and 400 miles of scenic hiking and mountain biking trails.
The 63 residences feature three to five bedrooms, ranging from 2,080 to 3,800 square feet. Prices start at $1.675 million, according to the developer Columbus Pacific Properties.
In addition to sweeping views, amenities include a contemporary clubhouse with outdoor heated pool, hot tub, spa and fitness center, and concierge services. Residents are also close to fine dining and shopping available on Main Street in Park City.
The development broke ground in September 2016 and construction will continue throughout the winter months in hopes that it will be completed by the 2017-2018 ski season, according to the developer.
Out of the 63 residences, 26 are already under contract, said Tony Tyler, senior project manager at Columbus Pacific Properties. "This new community is answering a growing demand in Park City for a more modern, sophisticated residential offering for both a ski and snowboard experience," he added.
Buyers are coming from across the globe, including Australia, Mexico, Texas, Florida, Los Angeles, Park City and the east coast, said Mr. Tyler.
The property will be managed by Vail Resorts.
