Selling a home named one of the world’s 100 best houses may have helped "Scream Queens" actress Billie Lourd quickly find a buyer for her bright blue Santa Monica pad.

The two-bedroom, three-bathroom house, which was featured in the "World’s 100 Best Houses" by Art Book in 2000, has gone into contract just two weeks after it hit the market, according to listing records.

The asking price for the 2,279-square-foot Sunset Park neighborhood home was $2.395 million, but the final purchase price won’t be made public until the sale has closed.

It’s not known why the 24-year-old Ms. Lourd decided to sell the home less than a year after buying it. Her mother is actress and writer Carrie Fisher, and her grandmother is Hollywood legend Debbie Reynolds. The two died within days of one another in December.

Ms. Lourd’s  house has been decorated with pops of color from magenta and teal area rugs and from mustard closets, fitting in with the colorful exterior.

Inside, the main level features an open floor plan with a living room, den, bedroom suite, and chef's kitchen complete with a breakfast bar and dining area. The master suite upstairs, meanwhile, has  a fireplace and a walk-in closet.

While the house is close to Santa Monica’s beaches, the lap pool and lounge area, which are made private by a tall manicured hedge, would certainly help an actress  enjoy the sun while avoiding prying eyes. Ms. Lourd is rumored to be dating "Twilight" star Taylor Lautner.

According to property records, The Bayou By The Beach Trust paid $2.25 million for it in 2016. Multiple media reports have listed Ms. Lourd as the owner.
