Australian actress Rebel Wilson is the latest A-lister to get on the 443 Greenwich St. bandwagon, following a laundry list of stars to buy at the posh Tribeca development.

The funnywoman and "Perfect Pitch" actress snapped up a two-bedroom unit in the former Manhattan book bindery, which developers have converted into ultra-luxury, loft-style condos. She closed on the unit last month for $2.953 million through The Blue Bay Trust and an agent she’s used to buy two homes in Los Angeles and establish her production company, Camp Sugar, Inc., according to property records and company filings. Women’s Wear Daily was the first to report the sale.

Ms. Wilson, 37, scored what appears to be a pretty steep deal on the 1,343-square-foot unit. Developers put the apartment on the market in $4.5 million in 2016, and later reduced it to $3.995 before Ms. Wilson managed to knock another $1 million off the price.

The home comes with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, according to the listing with brokerage Cantor & Pecorella, which is handling sales for the whole building. Ms. Wilson will pay roughly $1,500 a month in common charges for a building billed as "paparazzi proof."

That selling point has attracted a slew of celebrity buyers. Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel recently closed on a $20 million penthouse in the building. Other owners there reportedly include Harry Styles, Jennifer Lawrence, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively.

The sale comes as a dwindling number of units in the building remain available for sale. Seven of 52 loft-style homes are still unsold and only one of the eight penthouses, a triplex listed at $55 million, are left on the market.

Ms. Wilson’s new Manhattan digs come with access to the development’s ultra-private amenities, like a limited number of indoor parking spaces and a secluded 4,000-square-foot courtyard. The building also offers shared amenities like a 71-foot swimming pool, a children’s playroom, fitness center and a Turkish bath.

A publicist for Ms. Wilson did not immediately return a request for comment.
