Peter Buck, the former guitarist of for the band R.E.M., has listed his Seattle condominium for $1.45 million.
Located in the coveted Cristalla building on the coast of Elliott Bay, the two-bedroom apartment offers panoramic, 180-degree ocean and mountain views, according to the listing.
The residence has walnut shelving in the entryway, a Moorish-tiled master bath, granite countertops in the state-of the-art kitchen, refinished hardwood flooring, and lead glass lighting throughout. The balcony faces Northwest, giving way to remarkable sunsets over the bay.

"It’s located right in the heart of Belltown," said Ashley Hayes, the Principal Broker for UrbanAsh, the firm handling the sale. Right next to Amazon’s campus in the affluent Queen Anne neighborhood, Cristalla’s location is exceptional for Seattle, Hayes said. The antique tilework and Olympic Mountain and Elliott Bay views, according to Hayes, make the residence uniquely elegant. Buck has owned the property since 2006, Hayes said.

Mr. Buck, 61, is the lead guitarist for the alternative rock band "R.E.M.," which formed in 1980 and is famous hits like "The One I Love" and "Losing My Religion." R.E.M. disbanded amicably in 2011. He could not be reached for comment.
