Actress Ali Wentworth and ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos, are selling their gated Hamptons estate for $5.995 million.

The traditional shingle-style mansion hidden behind hedges in Southampton hit the market on Thursday. The 4,800-square-foot estate built in 2005 has a host of modern amenities for entertaining, including a 1,000-bottle wine cellar.

Ms. Wentworth, 53, who now stars in the comedy series "Nightcap," which she created for cable network Pop, bought the home in 2013 for $4.5 million, according to property records accessed through PropertyShark. Her husband, Mr. Stephanopoulos, is a co-host on "Good Morning America" and former senior adviser to President Bill Clinton.

This is the second time the couple have marketed their Hamptons retreat. They listed the home for $1 million more, at $6.995 million, for a few months 2016 and then took the listing down, according to records.

The estate comes with the typical features of a Hamptons mansion, including a sunken, all-weather tennis court and gunite pool. Inside, the architectural details range from sunny glass French doors and crown molding to a great room with soaring ceiling heights, according to the listing with Ann Ciardullo and Keith Green of Sotheby’s International Realty. Sotheby’s and the listing agents declined to comment on the home.

The first-floor master suite has an attached private library, and the kitchen centers around a large island with dual sinks. The home also has a towering library wall and sweeping entertainment spaces, which have hosted regular dinner parties, according to the listing.
