A mid-century, modern Hollywood Hills home partially owned by late, Oscar-winning director Curtis Hanson is selling for $3.125 million.

Hanson, who won an Oscar for adapting the screenplay for 1997’s "L.A. Confidential," died in September at age 71 after reportedly suffering from a form of early dementia. He owned the home with his longtime friend and business partner Carol Fenelon, who inherited full ownership of the property after Hanson’s death, according to property records.

The home last sold in 2005 for $1.99 million, records show; though Hanson never lived in the house.

Hanson and Ms. Fenelon worked on a number of films together, including rapper Eminem’s "8 Mile"; "In Her Shoes," starring Cameron Diaz; and Oscar-winning drama "Wonder Boys." Together, the pair operated production company Deuce Three Productions.

The house was built in 1967 and has 2,900 square feet of space, according to property records.
