Ryan Tedder and his wife Genevieve listed their four-bedroom, five-and-a-half bathroom home for $12.75 million on Monday.

Mr. Tedder bought the home in 2014 from film producer Gregory Goodman, for just under $7.5 million, according to the listing agent David Gray and property records. Mr. Tedder, the lead singer of OneRepublic, is selling the home because he recently purchased another house that he liked more, Mr. Gray said.

"The Tedder family added luxury details, expanded the property and restored it to its original look," Mr. Gray said. Now the home has "a very mid-century vibe but with a softer palette.".

Moreover, the home has south-facing rooms. The open layout enables natural light to flood the house, and the soft palette helps enhances the property’s ambience. The one-acre compound features multiple fireplaces throughout the main house, including one outside; an open-plan vestibule; a maid’s quarters and an outdoor seating area with a dining pavilion.

However most notably, it’s the location—"almost walking distance," from the center of Los Angeles—and the lot size that make this home exclusive,  Mr. Gray said.

Trousdale, the neighborhood where the listing is located, has been historically known as a hotspot for celebrity homes. Currently, Jane Fonda, Jennifer Aniston and Vera Wang are among the many A-listers who reside there, and previous residents included Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra and Ray Charles.

Mr. Tedder, 37, is a sought after- music producer, and has worked with stars like Madonna, Adele and Ariana Grande. He is also a frontman and founding member of OneRepublic, whose hits include, "Good Life," and "Counting Stars."

Representatives for Ryan Tedder did not immediately return a request for comment.
