If any neighbors of a particularly picturesque home nestled in the Hollywood Hills happen to be tween girls, well, let's just say earplugs might become a neighborhood staple. According to reports, One Direction star Louis Tomlinson, 24, just dropped $7.3 million on a four-bedroom, six-bath house at 2230 Maravilla Drive.

The Deco-inflected mansion clocks in at 6,000 square feet—more than enough space for the pop star and his eight-month-old son, Freddie Reign—and includes panoramic views of downtown Los Angeles and the Hollywood sign, curved balustrades, floor-to-ceiling windows, and French doors throughout, which open to a terrace that's got its own theater and bar, according to the property listing. There's also an infinity pool surrounded by lush landscaping and tropical palms.

Like so many houses like it, this one's private enough for a celebrity of Mr. Tomlinson's caliber—something he's publicly expressed is a priority, especially now that he has an infant son and is engaged in a custody battle with ex-girlfriend Brianna Jungwirth.

According to the listing, the home's backstory is about as L.A. as it gets: In addition to its classic location, Oscar winners, musical theater writers and rock star producers have all hung their hats here.

Reps for Mr. Tomlinson, and listing agents Ernie Carswell of Teles Properties Inc. and Barry Sloane of Sotheby’s International Realty didn't immediately return requests for comment.
