Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn is making moves on and off the slopes, selling a home in Los Angeles last week, months after picking up a new one.

Ms. Vonn, 33, sold her modern Zen-inspired home in the Beverly Grove neighborhood for $3.65 million on Wednesday—she placed sixth in the women’s super-G slalom event at the Olympic games in PyeongChang, South Korea, three days later. The sale comes on the heels of another real estate deal, in which Ms. Vonn paid $2.6 million for a house in Sherman Oaks in August, property records show.

The champion skier, who won a gold medal for women’s downhill in Vancouver in 2010, owned the four-bedroom Beverly Grove home for less than two years, buying it newly built through a personal trust and her financial adviser in 2016, property records show.

The modern, window-lined house has an indoor-outdoor layout spanning 5,000 square feet and filled with soothing "water accents," according to the listing with Gregory Masi of Pacific Union International.

Ms. Vonn willheadline the women’s downhill event on Tuesday night. An injury forced the Olympian to sit out of the 2014 winter games in Sochi, Russia.

Meanwhile, she’s snapped up a 4,047-square-foot contemporary-style house in Sherman Oaks.

Records show she bought the home from screenwriter and producer Marc Guggenheim through a private trust in August. Her financial adviser did not immediately return a request for comment.

Her new house, in Sherman Oaks, has roughly the same square footage as the one she sold in Beverly Grove but is configured with more bedrooms and has a larger yard.

The gated architectural home boasts high ceilings and new oak floors. There’s a pool, barbecue area, home office and bonus room for a nursery or gym, according to the former listing with Jill Donaty of The Donaty Group.
