A sprawling oceanfront home in Bridgehampton, New York, is coming onto the market for $42.5 million Tuesday, after a major expansion by contractor-to-the-stars Ben Krupinski, Mansion Global has learned.

The owner, whose identity is shielded by a limited liability company, purchased the 2011, Barns Coy-designed residence in early 2015 for $27.5 million, property records via PropertyShark show.

The owner then commissioned Ben Krupinski, who has built or renovated homes for celebrities including Christie Brinkley and Billy Joel, Adrienne Vittadini, and Martha Stewart, to expand the 7,354-square-foot home from 2015 to 2017, according to listing agent James Petrie of Compass, who declined to identify the seller.

The two-year, $10-million-plus project has added a roof deck, a kitchen with pizza oven and bar, as well as two TV-viewing areas, on top of 6,000 square feet of outdoor entertaining space.

Situated on approximately 1.5 acres on Surfside Drive, the home comes with manicured lawns, a heated infinity-edge gunite pool with spa, and a dock with direct access to the beach.

The interior living is laid out in an "upside down" fashion, meaning that the living and entertaining areas are located on the second floor, while bedrooms are on the first floor. "This is to best capture the views of the Atlantic Ocean, Sagaponack Pond and the dunes from where people spend most of their time," Mr. Petrie said.

The house with seven bedrooms, eight full bathrooms and two powder rooms, features walnut and limestone floors with radiant heat, soaring ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, geothermal heating, central air conditioning, as well as smart home technology, according to Mr. Petrie.
