Actress Eva Longoria, who gave birth to her first child on Tuesday, has doubled down on efforts to sell her various Los Angeles properties, after she and husband José "Pepe" Bastón bought a larger home in the area for them and their new baby boy.
The producer and "Desperate Housewives" star chopped $3 million off the price of the Hollywood Hills home that she bought from Tom Cruise in 2015 and is now asking $11 million for the gated hilltop estate, according to the listing updated on Monday. The new price would be a slight loss for the actress, who bought the two-house compound from the "Mission: Impossible" star for $11.4 million, according to property records.

Ms. Longoria, 43, bought the 2.5-acre property with then-fiance Mr. Bastón with plans to renovate. She even hired architect Mark Rios of Rios Clementi Hale Studios to decorate and design an addition on the property, according to the listing with Mauricio Umansky and Kevin Dees of The Agency, and Loren Judd of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.
The home is an unusual set-up with two family-sized houses of different architectural styles at either end of the lot. One is a more traditional white stucco home with four bedrooms, while the other is a red-tile roofed, three-bedroom home perched on the apex of the hillside compound.
The property also contains a stone cottage and two small studios and ample outdoor terrace space, according to the listing.
Meanwhile, the actress also slashed the price on another Los Angeles home she’s selling, a six-bedroom house that she’s owned since her days starring in "Desperate Housewives." She listed that home, also in Hollywood Hlls, in March for $3.8 million, and recently discounted it by $500,000.

She’s traded up to a sleek Beverly Crest mansion she and Mr. Bastón purchased last year for $13.5 million, according to property records.
Publicists for the star have declined to comment on her real estate sales.
