Location: London, England

Price: £7.195 million (US$9.53 million)

Soon to be perched atop the 50 Kensington Garden Square boutique development, this nearly completed penthouse will offer luxury living with a view. Located in the cosmopolitan neighborhood of Bayswater, the penthouse is the largest of the development’s 31 residences, collaboratively designed by award-winning architects from Brimelow McSweeney and interior designer Lynne Hunt.

The penthouse is the only unit on the seventhfloor, said Sally Mirbagheri, senior sales negotiator of Cluttons, adding that it subsequently has "great views all around from the balcony which wraps around the apartment nicely."

Offering a view on all sides, consequently, the penthouse contains not only two balconies, but also a garden room with large glass walls that open up to a private terrace. While these large windows provide a vista, Ms. Mirbagheri also notes they provide ample light and a sense of space.

"You will instantly feel the volume of the apartment as you walk through," she said, adding that "the sunset and sunrise can be watched from the balcony."

The interior will be a tasteful convergence of simplicity and chic modernism, highlighted by subtle timber floor finishes, marble tiling and angular windows framed by white walls.

The 2,637-square-foot penthouse includes three bedrooms and three full bathrooms, in addition to 748 square feet of outdoor space between its terrace and two balconies.

As a part of 50 Kensington Garden Square, the penthouse includes a smorgasbord of private amenities and those shared with the building. The penthouse is serviced by two elevators, includes a modern kitchen with state-of-art appliances, under-floor heating in all rooms, 24-hour concierge service and two dedicated parking spaces underground.

Neighborhood Notes

The development is located in the neighborhood of Bayswater, just north of Hyde Park. "Bayswater has changed a lot over the years," Ms. Mirbagheri said. "It’s definitely on the move up even more."

As a result of recent investment, she notes the area has grown in recent years, with a variety of high-end dining, shopping and entertainment. Ms. Mirbagheri doesn’t see this as plateauing anytime soon, adding, that the nearby street of "Queensway is regenerating and is expected to be a similar area to Covent Garden with lots of new bars and restaurants in the coming years."
