Prolific film producer Megan Ellison has sold her Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles property.

The price for the almost eight acres of property was $35.7 million, according to the Hollywood Reporter, which first reported the sale.

The off-market sale was closed, a source with knowledge of the deal confirmed for Mansion Global, but declined to give further details. The transaction has yet to appear in public records.

The sale includes a main residence on Electra Court in Sunset Strip that Ms. Ellison bought for $20 million in 2013 and a couple of neighboring parcels she acquired for an additional $10 million, according to public records.

Ms. Ellison, 31, produced "Zero Dark Thirty," "Her" and "American Hustle," all of which were nominated for Best Picture Academy Awards. She is also daughter of software giant Oracle’s founder Larry Ellison.

A rep for Ms. Ellison declined to comment, while her company Annapurna Pictures didn’t immediately respond to a request for confirmation on the sale.

The main house, sitting on more than three acres with some of the best views in Los Angeles, has 10,000 square feet of interior living space, including six bedrooms and eight bathrooms. Outside, there is a pool with a grotto and an outdoor volleyball court, according to a previous listing.

The buyer and seller were both represented by the brokerage Mercer Vine, which declined to comment.
