A bayside house in the gated Miami neighborhood of Bay Point has been listed for $8.9 million.

The house belongs to Stephen Zack, an attorney who led the American Bar Association from 2010 to 2011. Mr. Zack bought the house from singer Enrique Iglesias for $6.7 million in 2013, according to property records.

Mr. Iglesias purchased the property in 1996, and according to Robert Evangelista of Sotheby’s, who is the listing agent for the property, he gave it a total renovation that was completed in 1998.

Mr. Zack also renovated the house, which was listed on April 19. He said that he and his wife installed a gym and office in the upper floor, and took down a wall in the ground floor to create an open plan living space.

They also installed a bar and wine room. "We enjoy wine, and that was something that we thought was important," Mr. Zack said.

With nearly 6,400 square feet of space, according to the listing, the home has five bedrooms and five bathrooms. There is a balcony overlooking the bay and a separate pantry room off the kitchen, according to Mr. Evangelista said.

The nearly half-acre property has a saltwater infinity pool, a covered outdoor dining area, a hot tub and a dock on the bay. The back patio has views of both the bay and the downtown skyline.

Mr. Zack and his wife found a new home on the beach, but he said they enjoyed living in the Bay Point house. "We just found something we liked a little more," he said.

The Zacks’ ranch in Napa, California, burned down in the wildfires that swept the area last October, according to the ABA Journal. Mr. Zack said they are working on restoring the property.
