Edinburgh Has U.K.’s Strongest September for House Prices House prices increased 6.7% year on year in September in Edinburgh, the highest growth among U.K. cities. The overall growth among major cities was 4.9%, a drop from last year’s 6%. Birmingham, Bournemouth, Leicester and Manchester are among the other high performing cities. Turkish Property Sales Soar The number of residential properties sold in Turkey increased 28.8% year over year in September, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute. A total of 140,298 houses were sold in September, a month-over-month increase of 16.7%. Interestingly, the number of properties sold to foreigners increased 75.2% annually.
