Miami Luxury Market Expected to Slow in 2018 Despite a slowdown in Miami sales, single-family homes and units under $600,000 are expected to do well in 2018. Higher-priced luxury developments, however, are expected to face more difficulty in the coming year. A high level of inventory, accounting for both resales and under-construction units, has led to significant price reductions as high as 35% and expected development projects being delayed. Ben Platt Finds Manhattan Home Actor Ben Platt, who wrapped up his Tony-winning role in Broadway’s "Dear Evan Hansen" this past fall, recently purchased a $2.1 million home on the Upper West Side. Abu Dhabi and Dubai Prices Drop Dubai and Abu Dhabi have experienced drops in both property and rental prices. November saw Dubai’s prices down 1.2% month-on-month and 3.84% year-on-year, while rental prices dropped 6.4% year-on-year for apartments and 6.8% year-on-year for villas. Abu Dhabi’s prices were down 9.62% year-on-year, while rents fell 11.17% year-on-year for apartments and 9.71% year-on-year for villas. PropertyWire

Bellevue and Medina Have Seattle Area’s Priciest Zip Codes A PropertyShark list of the most expensive ZIP Codes in the United States included none from the Seattle limits but two from the neighboring Eastside. ZIP Code 98039, which includes the town of Medina and is home to Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos, was number 22 on the list.
