The Butlers sold their technology firm in 1997 and purchased the property the same year. Perry now operates the winery, Juslyn Vineyards, which is named after Carolyn and their daughter Justine. Carolyn owns a high-end shoe retailer called Footcandy, in addition to a spin- and yoga-centric fitness studio. The Butlers designed the house with an architect. With 9,600 square feet of interior space, the home has five bedrooms, four full bathrooms and one partial bathroom. It has a gym, a library and views of the Napa Valley from nearly every room, according to the listing. Gardens surrounding the home include olive groves, waterfalls and a koi pond. A helipad on the property is about a five-minute walk from the main house. The Butlers are selling the estate because they’ve purchased a smaller parcel of land where they intend to downsize.
