Lasata, Jackie Kennedy Onassis’s childhood summer house in East Hampton, New York, went into contract Wednesday night, according to a representative for Douglas Elliman.

Since hitting the market in 2016 for $38.995 million, the manor has had $9 million in price reductions. The most recent was a $5 million chop in September, which brought its price down to $29.995 million.

It is not yet known how much the anonymous buyer—who used an LLC, according to the representative—paid for the house, whichis being sold by Reed Krakoff, fashion designer and chief artistic officer at Tiffany & Co. Mr. Krakoff, who could not be reached for comment, bought the estate in 2007 for $20 million, city records show.

Designed by Arthur Jackson and built in 1917 on more than seven acres, the home has 10 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms and two half bathrooms. There’s also a swimming pool, a pool house, a two-bedroom guesthouse and a three-car garage.

"We are both honored and privileged to be able to represent such a significant piece of American history," said a statement from Carol Nobbs and Eileen O'Neill of Douglas Elliman, who shared the listing with Corcoran’s Susan Breitenbach and Peter Turino of Brown Harris Stevens.

"The new price is very realistic and represents substantial value considering the house was totally renovated in 2007," listing broker Peter Turino of Brown Harris Stevens told Mansion Global in September. "The fact that this property was the Bouvier summer residence throughout the 1920s adds an uncommon element of intrigue." Mr. Turini declined to comment on the recent transaction.

Ms. Breitenbach did not immediately comment on the sale.

An adjacent four-acre adjacent parcel holding the home’s sunken, grass tennis court is also in contract, though with a different buyer, according to the representative. It was most recently asking $11.995 million, discounted from its original $15 million ask.
