The first residences at the Sorting House, a new condominium development coming to Midtown Manhattan, are now on the market. The luxury development will sit on top of the three-story Radio City Station Post Office on West 52nd Street. The developer of the condominium, Cadence Property Group, will redesign the third floor and add two additional floors to the building. When finished, the property will include 30 loft residences, ranging from studios to three bedrooms. The development was profiled in the New York Times on Friday. Six residences hit the market over the weekend. The available units range from a 608-square-foot studio with one bathroom, which is listed for $895,000, to a 1,409-square-foot loft with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. It’s on the market for $2.625 million. All of the residences will include 10-foot-high ceilings in the living areas, Italian marble countertops in the kitchens and white oak flooring throughout the home. Building amenities will include a 2,600-square-foot roof deck, in addition to a fitness center. Some of the apartments will have outdoor spaces; others will feature private rooftop terraces with city views. Construction of the property is under way. Closings are expected to begin in early 2017, according to a spokesperson for the developer.
