It appears that Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin are at long last consciously uncoupling from their Manhattan penthouse.

The "Mortdecai" actress’ and the Coldplay frontman’s Tribeca penthouse, which they relisted at the end of February for the reduced price of $9.995 million, went into contract yesterday, according to listing records, although the final price won’t be made public until the sale has closed.

The former couple, who have two children and divorced in 2014, must be relieved to have found a buyer after trying to sell the three-bedroom spread for a year.

The sale has come at a cost, however, as they had to slash the apartment’s price from the $14.25 million it was listed for when it first went on the market last March. That price was later reduced to $12.85 million, only for it to be withdrawn from the market in November, records show.

And it wasn’t for lack of trying. In June, the "Shakespeare in Love" actress  showcased the apartment on her lifestyle website, Goop, but it was still not enough to encourage potential buyers to open their wallets.

So what does almost $10 million get you in trendy Tribeca? In this case, it’s 3,892 square feet of living space, including three bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms.

According to the listing, it was designed by Roman and Williams and features 11-foot ceilings, painted white floors, French doors, an impressive 500-square-foot decked terrace and even a quirky sofa swing.

The apartment is in the posh River Lofts, a two-building development designed by architect Tony Ingrao, which has a doorman, gym and direct elevator access to the garage.

Property records show that the Ms. Paltrow and Mr. Martin paid $5.146 million for the penthouse in 2007 through the ORCHARD HOUSE, LLC.
