An 1830 Greek Revival-style residence in Southampton, New York, has returned to the market for $11.25 million after undergoing some major renovations over the last year.

The 5,732-square-foot house last sold for $4.23 million in March 2016, public records show, which means the current listing price represents a potential $7-million profit for the owner.

The new floor plan offers five bedrooms, four full bathrooms and a half bathroom, according to the listing posted last week by the John Wines team at Saunders & Associates Real Estate.

The residence’s exterior boasts large square windows, a front gable roof featuring return cornices and deep caves as well as large Italianate brackets, an Italianate-style molded door and an arcaded wooden porch, according to Mr. Wines.

"It’s a beautiful exemplar of the period architecture," Mr. Wines said.

Situated on Main Street, also known as "Captain’s Row" in Sag Harbor, the house is right across the street from the Sag Harbor Whaling & Historical Museum and the newly renovated library. It’s also near downtown shopping and restaurants, Mr. Wines said.

The location, the sizable lot rarely found in the town, coupled with its renovations and current market conditions, might explain the price increase, Mr. Wines said.

The 0.43-acre property has a backyard with a heated pool, and a pool house. There is a red-brick driveway with off-street parking.
