The home features several fireplaces, hardwood flooring, marble countertops and unobstructed bay views from almost every part of the house, according to Lourdes Alatriste, a partner at Engel and Völkers Miami, who is handling the listing.

The estate, built in 2003 on almost one acre of land right across from a park, has lush landscaping, its own boat dock and a lit tennis court, Ms. Alatriste said.

Mr. Nicholas Jr., who also served on the boards of Xerox Corp. and Boston Scientific, which was co-founded by his brother Peter Nicholas, as well as the Environmental Defense Fund, purchased the property via a trust in 2015 for $12.85 million, property records show.

He couldn’t immediately be reached for comment.

Considered one of the most prestigious addresses in Miami, the estate has neighbors including billionaire Jorge M. Perez, chairman and CEO of The Related Group, and Bernardo Fort Brescia, chief executive of architectural firm Arquitectonica and heir to Peruvian conglomerate Grupo Breca.

The Real Deal first reported the listing.
