Fleetwood Mac bassist John McVie has sold his Honolulu, Hawaii, home for $5.4 million, according to listing records and a representative for the brokerage.
Mr. McVie, 72, bought the home under a limited liability company in 2006 for $5 million, property records show. He decided to sell so he could spend more time with his family in Los Angeles, listing broker Patricia Choi, of Hawaii Life, told Mansion Global previously, adding that he will not be maintaining another home on the island.

Ms. Choi did not immediately respond to request for comment on the sale of the property.
Mr. McVie listed the five-bedroom home in November with an asking price of $6.25 million.
Mansion Global could not determine the identity of the buyer.

Built in 1989, the 7,953-square-foot house has vaulted ceilings, six bathrooms, an open floor plan, staff or guest quarters, stone floors, a pool, a three-car garage and views of the ocean and the city. It was remodeled in 1999, according to the listing.
Mr. McVie, who could not be reached for comment, was one of the first members of Fleetwood Mac when the band formed in London in 1967. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1999 along with other members of the band.
