A former marketing CEO and his wife who held a Florida fundraiser for Hillary Clinton before the 2016 presidential election have just sold their $2.5 million condo at Manhattan’s Trump Tower.

Helene and Roy Schwedelson, who stepped down as the CEO of direct-marketing firm Worldata Group in 2010 to make way for his son, put the condo on the market on Feb. 23, and listing records show that it went into contract Wednesday.

The Schwedelsons held a fundraiser for Ms. Clinton at their home in Boca Raton, Florida, in February 2016. According to various reports, Ms. Clinton could not attend as she had to fly to Nevada on short notice, but former President Bill Clinton was there on her behalf.

Mr. Schwedelson, who describes himself as a Democrat on his Twitter account, sat on the National Finance Committee for Hillary Clinton for American and wrote on Twitter in September that "Hillary is the only qualified candidate in the race".
