Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, "Arrested Development" actress Portia de Rossi, have sold one of two lavish estates in Montecito, California, for around $11 million, according to county property records.

They sold the six-acre estate, called Rancho San Leandro, to Sean Rad, founder of dating app Tinder, who sealed the deal using a limited liability company, according to records filed with the county this month. Mr. Rad did not immediately return a request for comment.

The talk show host and serial house flipper only bought the six-acre estate in September for slightly under $7.2 million through a private trust. She’s managed to reap a $3.8 million profit in less than eight months and despite wildfires sweeping through the area around the home.

The sale was brokered in what appears to be an off-market deal, as the TV personalities weren't listing the home publically.

The gated compound includes two Mission-style houses, which are nestled in the Santa Ynez Mountains and have sweeping views over the Montecito Valley and Pacific Ocean.

The older of the buildings is a thick adobe mission-style house dating to 1850 that a previous owner restored, according to a previous listing with Riskin Partners Partners. A second building was added in 2006, and the whole residence encircles a stone courtyard with a fountain at its center.

The interiors feature tiled floors and soaring vaulted, exposed-beam ceilings.

The property also has an equestrian facility.

A rep for Ms. DeGeneres and Ms. de Rossi did not immediately return request for comment.

Meanwhile, Ms. DeGeneres and Ms. de Rossi are selling an even bigger Montecito estate, a Tuscan-style villa for which their asking $39.5 million, Mansion Global has previously reported.
