Ellen DeGeneres and wife, "Scandal" actress Portia de Rossi, have cut $1 million off the price of a condo in the posh Beverly West development.
The two-bedroom apartment in the Los Angeles Wilshire Corridor is just one home in the vast property portfolio the couple owns—including lavish estates in Beverly Hills and Santa Barbara. The 4,158-square-foot home first hit the market in February for nearly $8 million and as of today, is now selling for $6.995 million, according to listing records.

The condo is one of two units that Ms. DeGeneres owned as part of a full-floor spread at Beverly West. She sold the neighboring unit a couple of weeks ago for $6 million, according to property records.
The remaining unit has unobstructed views over Los Angeles and the green grounds and golf course at the neighboring Los Angeles Country Club. It was recently redone, according to the listing with Kurt Rappaport of Westside Estate Agency, which is marketing the home as a "perfect pied-a-terre."
The apartment has private elevator access, wide-plank flooring, wine storage and comes with a Nespresso coffee system.
For the days when a buyer would want to shut themselves off from the heady views, the apartment comes with an iPad-controlled Lutron lighting and shade system.
Building residents also get 24-hour security, a fitness center and swimming pool.
