Fashion designer and cartwheel-loving sparkplug Betsey Johnson has dropped the price of her Upper East Side condo to $1.795 million, after it was initially listed in May for $2.25 million, according to reports.

Clocking it at 850 square feet, the petite, light-filled one-bedroom, two-bathroom corner apartment at 30 E. 85th St.is, much like Betsey herself, quintessentially New York—it's located just one block from Central Park, which is also partially visible from the 300 square-foot terrace—as well as Museum Mile.

Also included, according to the listing: hardwood floors throughout, an open kitchen, marble tubs, and abundant closet space. As for the building, it's got the amenities you'd expect from its swanky location, including a full-time doorman, a fitness center, a garage, and a concierge, maid and valet service.

According to reports, the 73-year-old designer—known for ending every runway show with a series of splits and cartwheels and her free-spirited use of color and prints—bought the apartment in 2008 for $1.85 million after selling her two-bedroom penthouse in Greenwich Village for $2.5 million, $1.1 million below its original asking price.

Corcoran listing agents Beth Benalloul and Salomon Benalloul didn't immediately return requests for comment.
