A unique mountain estate previously listed for $3.249 million in Colorado will hit the auction block without a reserve price in October.
Situated on a private bluff overlooking 36-holes of the Rocky Mountain golf and valleys, this Colorado log home features nearly 6,000 square feet of space, with five bedroom suites, six bathrooms, and three levels, the listing shows.

The 1.32-acre property will sell without reserve, meaning the highest bidder will become the new owner upon closing of the auction, which will take place Oct. 17 via Concierge Auction’s website.
Property records show the mountain home was bought by Twilight Ridge LLC in 2013 for $1.43 million. According to listing agent John Wells of The Wells Group, the house was owned by a family as a vacation home.
"The family has two vacation homes and they decided to sell this one and kept another one," Mr. Wells said.
The mountain estate was listed for $4.425 million in 2015; the price dropped to $3.249 million after languishing in the market for almost two years.

"The previous broker set the price at $4.425 million, but we don’t have that many buyers in this price range. So after analyzing the market, we decided to price it at $3.249 million," said Mr. Wells. "But it may take a year to sell this property because of the nature of the second home market, so the owner decided to put it on auction."
Built in 1997 and fully remodeled, the property was made of natural wood and logs were recently sandblasted back to their original state, according to the listing. The mountain home offers a spacious kitchen with all high-end stainless appliances, three floor-to-ceiling stacked stone fireplaces throughout the home and a large living room overflowing into a separate bar area, according to the listing. And the private master suite takes up the entire third floor.
"You just need simply to turn the key and it has everything you need for high-end living," said Mr. Wells. "And the setting is really unique. It’s one of the most unique logs you can find in Rocky Mountain West."
Perched on the granite peninsula, the house can be accessed by a log bridge. Besides the 360 degree views of mountains, valleys, cliffs, water and golf course, the listing shows the property also comes with an elevator from the ground floor of the 3-car attached garage, stopping on the main floor by the kitchen—convenient for unloading groceries.
