Cheryl Hines, star of "Curb Your Enthusiasm", owns a Malibu hideaway that is, as her on-screen ex-husband Larry David would say, "pretty, pretty, pretty good."
But that hasn't stopped 51-year-old Ms. Hines and her 63-year-old husband, environmental attorney-turned-activist Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., from just listing the $6.45 million property for sale.

The sprawling private and gated Malibu estate is located close to the beach in the exclusive Point Dume area, where many movies, including scenes from the original "Planet of the Apes"series, have been shot.
But despite being located in one of sunny California’s most coveted neighborhoods, the listing describes the estate as "reminiscent of a Connecticut compound with mature trees and beautiful landscaped flat grounds."
There’s a four-bedroom, three-bathroom barn-like main house, a detached pool house and two guest houses, all painted in firehouse red, according to the listing. There’s also a large pool, a two-story treehouse and a wine shed to boot.
The main house has wooden floors and high wood ceilings throughout, as well as a large formal living room complete with a brick fireplace that leads into a reading room.
Elsewhere, there is a gourmet island kitchen and dining area, a media room with a custom barn-style sliding door and a master suite that comes with a spa-like bath and new custom closet.
Los Angeles property records show that the couple, who got married in 2014, paid $4.995 million for it the same year through a private trust, whose listed address is that of Ms. Hines’s production company.
Ms. Hines, who’s currently starring in the TV show "Son of Zorn," confirmed to the Wall Street Journal in September that she would be reprising her told as Mr. David’s ex-wife, Cheryl, in the ninth season of HBO’s "Curb Your Enthusiasm," which will air later this year.
Mr. Kennedy, son of the late Robert F. Kennedy, is president of the board of nonprofit Waterkeeper Alliance, which strives to protect waterways around the world.

A spokeswoman for Ms. Hines confirmed that she is the owner, while the listing agent, Chris Cortazzo of Coldwell Banker Malibu West, did not respond immediately to request for comment. A spokesperson for Waterkeeper Alliance also did not respond immediately to request for comment.
