A three-penthouse combo in Manhattan’s artsy SoHo neighborhood created by celebrity photographer Ken Nahoum, is being listed for $20 million Tuesday, Mansion Global has learned.

Mr. Nahoum, who has focused his lens on a slew of Hollywood A-listers, including Robert De Niro, Michael Douglas, Dr. Dre, Johnny Cash, Cher and Mandy Moore, said he began living in the classic cast iron SoHo building on Greene Street when it was converted into a condo in the mid-1980s.

He and his ex-girlfriend, Victoria’s Secret model Basia Milewicz, bought the first 1,231-square-foot apartment, PHB, in 1999. In 2002, he snapped up two adjacent penthouses, PHA and PHE, and the rooftop section.

Following the pair’s split in 2012, Mr. Nahoum and Ms. Milewicz got ensnarled in a battle over the apartment’s ownership and eventually he bought her out this May. PHB was transferred to him for $1.6 million, public records show.

Now offered as one large unit, the three-penthouse combo comprises of 8,200 square feet of interior living space, including four bedrooms and four bathrooms. There are five outdoor terraces totaling 4,000 square feet, with another 2,000 square feet to be utilized, Mr. Nahoum said.

"It’s very unusual for this location to have so big a space," Mr. Nahoum said. "Besides, the 36-feet-high ceilings and 24-foot glass windows offer sweeping views over SoHo."

The residence also features a set of nine-foot-wide antique doors imported from Paris, an 85-foot-long living room with dark Wenge floors and Venetian plaster walls, a nine-foot marble mantle and a large kitchen designed by Philippe Starck. The loft-style residence has skylights, exposed brick walls, a Crestron system and central air conditioning throughout.

The home is perfect for celebrities as well as large families, said Ariel Cohen, listing agent at Douglas Elliman.

"The location is unbelievable," Mr. Cohen said, noting that the building is situated on one of the most desirable cobblestone blocks in the heart of SoHo, within walking distance to designer shops, galleries and trendy restaurants.

For price-conscious buyers, the penthouse combo commands less than $2,000 per square foot, taking current usable outdoor space into account, which is generally priced at half of interior space, Mr. Cohen said.

In addition, the condo is known for its relatively low monthly maintenance. The penthouse incurs about a $10,000 monthly expense, whereas similar luxury homes in Manhattan often are three times as much, Mr. Cohen said.

Residents in the six-story condo are mostly creative types, among them artists, designers and writers, according to property records.

Mr. Cohen co-listed the property with Joseph Ash of Luxury Property Group.
