The estate of the late big-time entertainment manager and producer Edgar F. Gross—whose record of A-list clients included Richard Gere, Gene Hackman, Angelica Huston and The Commodores—has hit the market in Beverly Hills for $18.25 million.
The six-bedroom home sits on a 1-acre lot a house over from Taylor Swift’s recently landmarked mansion, the former home of MGM producer Samuel Goldwyn. It’s the first time the Hamptons-esque, shingle-style home has been on the market in 40 years, when Gross bought the property in 1976 for $367,000, according to property records.

Gross, whose long career meandered into production during the 1980s, died in October at the age of 85. He teamed up multiple times with his client, writer-director John Boorman to produce films like "Excalibur," "Hope and Glory," and "Where the Heart Is," starring Uma Thurman.
He lived in the Beverly Hills mansion with his wife and fellow producer, Marcellina.
The main house, built in 1952, is 6,066 square feet with six bathrooms. The large backyard encompasses abundant patio space, a pool and guesthouse with its own office and gym. A private tennis court sits to northwest of the mansion, according to the listing with Hilton & Hyland agent Judy Feder.
Ms. Feder is marketing the property as a potential development opportunity. She did not immediately respond to request for comment.
