Location: Naples, Florida

Price: $9.75 million

This large Asian-themed house in the heart of Naples is quite different from your typically sedate southwest Florida home.

"It’s a head-turner," said listing agent Chandler Marks. "People on their bikes and cars are always stopping to take pictures."

"The buyer will be someone who wants something different than your typical Naples home," he said. "Naples is very quiet—people like to be understated."

The owners, who finished building their custom home in 2013, have lived and worked inSingapore and have traveled extensively throughout Asia, Mr. Marks said. "They do a lot of business in Asia and they love that culture," he said.

The owners named the house Namaste, an ancient Sanskrit greeting that roughly translated means "The Spirit within me salutes the Spirit in you."

"They built this as a dream house for their whole family to enjoy," Mr. Marks said.

"It’s offered turnkey and fully furnished, with very few exceptions," he said.

The owners picked many of the architectural and design details from Thailand as well as the island of Bali, one of their favorite destinations. The living room features a massive custom hand-carved center beam from Bali, and the breakfast area ceiling is covered in reed matting from Bali.

The dining table, which weighs more than 2,000 pounds, is made of Suar wood and was lifted into the house with a crane before the roof was installed. The stone carving on the fireplace hearth is from Vietnam, and the urns on the dining credenza are custom made from Cambodia.

The house was designed to capture the views of the Gulf of Mexico to the west, and most of the common living spaces are on the top floor.

"The third floor holds the core of the house," Mr. Marks said, including the gourmet kitchen, office, and dining and living rooms.

"The views are excellent from the third level and the sundeck on the very top," he said.

The second floor is more than 3,400 square feet, with double master suites and two oversized guest rooms with en-suite bathrooms, a media room and private office.

"The bedrooms are all very graciously appointed, and they are very large rooms," Mr. Marks said.

The owner’s master bedroom has a cypress wood ceiling with walnut beams, and the bathroom boasts a tub carved of natural granite from Bali (it weighs more than 2,000 pounds), a fireplace, and two showers—one indoor and one outdoor.
