Location: Midtown Manhattan, New York

Price: $9.3 million

This sixth-floor apartment in a new 63-story glass tower offers wide-open loft living spaces and ultra-modern concrete walls, floors and ceilings.

"It’s just not your traditional apartment by any means," said listing agent Julia Hoagland. "It’s a downtown loft in a full-service Midtown building," she said. "It’s like a loft you would see in Soho."

Construction on the glass residential tower, designed by Norman Foster, is moving along well, Ms. Hoagland said. "We now have two fully furnished floors that we’re using as our models," including this, Apartment 6C, he said. The 94 residences in the building range from alcove lofts to four-bedroom apartments.

This unit is one of a specialized collection of 15 lofts that are located in the base of the tower and spread across five floors.

The open chef’s kitchen features wire-brushed light oak cabinetry with integrated pulls and bronze detailing, cabinet-fronted Gaggenau stainless steel appliances, brushed stainless steel countertop with integrated sink, and brushed stainless steel knife edge backsplash with embedded ventilation and LED lighting.

There are two master bedrooms, each with its own bathroom featuring radiant heated flooring, wire-brushed oak vanity with Silver Striato travertine slab countertop, integrated sink, and recessed medicine cabinets. The bathrooms also feature glass-enclosed showers with rain head and freestanding Apaiser soaking tubs complemented with Aquabrass fixtures throughout.
