Seattle’s luxury home market is on the rise — and it has Silicon Valley to thank.
A metro-wide technology boom led to a 21% increase in tech workers between June 2014 and June 2015, according to the Seattle-based real estate brokerage Redfin. As home prices in San Francisco’s Bay Area continue to climb, Seattle is proving to be a comparatively affordable alternative for Silicon Valley transplants.
