Listing of the Day

Location: Honolulu, Hawaii

Price: $2.599 million

This fully renovated, wellness-friendly townhouse sits on the slopes of the iconic Diamond Head volcanic crater and very near the beaches of Waikiki.

"It was completely gutted and renovated top to bottom with all new lighting, new floors, all new plumbing, all new electricity," said listing agent Kelly Allen of Carvill Sotheby's International Realty.

"The seller didn’t skimp on anything," she said. "They really put in top of the line of everything."

The house is part of the gated community of La Pietra. It was built in 1970 and fully renovated last year.

"It’s part of this neat little complex on the slopes of Diamond Head," Ms. Allen said. "It feels like a single-family home, but you have common areas like a condo."

As part of the renovation, the owner installed many wellness systems, including air purification units, circadian rhythm lighting and aromatherapy. There is also a living wall of plants in the living room.

In fact, this is only one of only four Delos Well Signature residential properties in the United States.

"Everywhere you go you feel the good energy from the woods they used, from the lighting they used," Ms. Allen said.

There are environmentally friendly bamboo wood floors throughout, and the kitchen features leather texture absolute black granite countertops, a hammered copper sink, Sub-Zero refrigerator and Viking range.

The stats

The 2,228-square-foot house has four bedrooms, three full bathrooms and one partial bath.

Amenities

Aside from all the wellness "extras" in the house, the gated La Pietra community has a communal swimming pool and sits on 5.48 acres.

This home has a very private and lushly planted lanai, or outdoor terrace.

Neighborhood notes

"It’s a very exclusive, very pricey area," Ms. Allen said. "You have tons of trees. It’s a very iconic place on Oahu."

"The great Waikiki beaches are maybe a five-minute walk away" and downtown Honolulu is not far, she said.

"It’s very neighborhoody, slower paced kind of place," Ms. Allen said. "It’s a lifestyle, living in Diamond Head. You can walk to get coffee, walk to the beach."

The climate is ideal, she said. "It’s 86 and breezy almost every day of the year—summer is all year long."
