The Boyd Residence, the sole apartment found inside Sydney’s ANZ Tower, in the city’s central business district, isgoing tohit the market Saturday for A$66 million (US$51.67 million).
The penthouse spans the 43rd and 44th floors of the Castlereagh Street commercial tower and was completed in late 2015 after four years of construction, according to a news release.

"It’s the only apartment that I know of that sits in a full commercial, high-profile building," said listing broker Bill Malouf of L.J. Hooker Double Bay, who has the co-listing with Ken Jacobs of Christie’s International Real Estate.
The four-bedroom apartment was designed by Richard Francis-Jones and Blainey North, according to the news release. It has 360-degree views of the harbor and city, floor-to-ceiling windows, a cigar room, a private elevator, high ceilings and a private rooftop with a cabana lounge, pool and observation deck. Last year, it won an International Design & Architecture Award—judged by design et al, a U.K. interior design magazine—for a residential property priced above £40 million (US$55.7 million).
"It ticks a number of boxes, especially for the elite buyer that's looking for that seclusion, that’s looking for that security," Mr. Malouf said.

The penthouse was built for property developer John Boyd, who was promised the apartment when he sold the Castlereagh Street building in 2009, according to reports. Mansion Global could not verify if Mr. Boyd lived in the home, or whether he is the seller of the home. He could not be reached for comment.
At more than 590-feet tall, ANZ Tower is one of the tallest buildings in Sydney. ANZ Bank is one of the tower’s main occupants, along with international law firm Herbert Smith Freehills and management consulting firm The Boston Consulting Group.
