A newly remodeled property has hit the market in Boca Raton, Fla., for $7.995 million. Custom built in 2003, the Tuscan-inspired Intracoastal estate on Spanish River Road underwent a six-week makeover to give it a more contemporary look and lighten it up, according to listing agent Jonathan Postma of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate and owner Shane Brown. They declined to say how much was spent in the remodeling. The 11,612-square-foot house, which hit the market on Sept. 11, is also available furnished for $8.495 million. Brown lived in the estate for 11 years but recently moved to a new house in Boca Raton, he said. Set in a canopy of Banyan trees, the house for sale has 135 feet of water frontage with a dock for an up to 50-foot long boat. It has four bedrooms and a total of nine bathrooms—six full and three partial—on two levels. Its features include an elevator, wine cellar, theater, pool and wet bar. Boca Raton, in Palm Beach County, is one of the country’s most affluent residential areas, with a median sales price of $1.65 million for a single-family home in the luxury segment, according to Douglas Elliman.
