Stewart, famous for his achievements in the field of calculus, was also the author of calculus textbooks that are widely used in the U.S. and Canada. Intensely involved in both the design and construction, Stewart ensured that many interior and exterior details of the house adhered to the principles of calculus, according to the listing agent. With craftsmen from around the world working on the project, the home was finished in 2009 after 11 years of construction.
