The Hollywood Hills estate belonging to Oscar-winning actor Forest Whitaker and his wife, Keisha, hit the market on Friday asking $5.995 million.

The two-home property in Los Angeles is in a gated community and set on 1.66 acres of hillside land. City records show that the couple bought the neighboring homes in 2003 in two separate transactions for a combined $2 million. It’s described by its listing with Douglas Elliman’s Liz Gottainer and Jeeb O’Reilly, as the "ultimate celebrity compound."

Built in 1998, the main house has six bedrooms, six bathrooms, a two-story entry, a double staircase, a game room, a chef’s kitchen, a formal dining room, a "custom spa-like master bedroom," maid’s quarters and a wraparound terrace.

The secondary, or guest house—right next door—is just a little older, having been built in 1992. It spans three floors and has five bedrooms, five bathrooms and its own private gated entry, per the listing.
