Johnny Depp bought five apartments in the converted Eastern Columbia Building in 2007, creating his own mansion in downtown Los Angeles.

"He lived in them like they were rooms in a home," said agent Kevin Dees of real estate brokerage Partners Trust. "One apartment was the main living area and master bedroom, another was a dining room and reception area."

Penthouse Two was used as an art studio by Mr. Depp, who put all five on the market last year. This penthouse, a two-bedroom, two-and-a-half bathroom corner unit, sold for $1.82 million at the beginning of August, Mr. Dees said.

That means there’s just one of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor’s abodes left on the market.

The five apartments were originally listed in September for $12.8 million, and Penthouse Two went on the market individually for $2.75 million in November. The price was reduced to $2.4 million in February.

On the 13th floor of the building, Penthouse Two offers "really amazing views" of the city to the south, with the ocean in the distance. And it boasts one of the largest terraces in the building, Mr. Dees said. It also has access to the building’s saltwater pool, spa and rooftop deck, he added.

On the first floor, the chef’s kitchen, dining area and living room are combined in an open layout, with the terrace just outside. A bold red staircase and red-and-black checkered floors lead upstairs to the bedrooms, which have exposed brick and large windows framed by scalloped walls.

Mr. Depp has been the only owner of these apartments at the Eastern Columbia Lofts, a condo conversion that was completed in 2007. He paid about $7.2 million for the collection in 2007 and 2008, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The 13-story building was built in 1930, and "is one of the finest examples of Art Deco architecture in the United States, and certainly in Los Angeles," Mr. Dees said. It was originally built as the headquarters for clothing and furniture outfitters Eastern Outfitting Company and the Columbia Outfitting Company, the agent said. After a more than $80 million renovation, it now has 147 condominiums.

The first of Mr. Depp’s "rooms" to sell was a two-bedroom, three-bathroom spot for $2.5 million, Mansion Global reported in October. Another, the 2,400-square-foot Penthouse Three, went for $3.9 million.

Mr. Depp's representatives didn't immediately return requests for contact.
