The glass-covered Hamptons spec house that counts New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning among its notable neighbors has just had a 10% price chop, bringing its ask down from $18.75 million to $16.95 million.

The almost 10,000-square-foot beach house on Dune Road in East Quogue, New York, is the result of a collaboration between developer Roboco Inc. and architectural firm H2H. It first hit the market in March 2017.

At the time, Mansion Global reported that the eight-bedroom property had already garnered interest from another top NFL player, as well as a few potential buyers from New York, Los Angeles and Florida. Although evidently none of those prospects have taken the plunge just yet.

The home’s listing notes that the house comes with a sizable great room lined with walls of glass, perfect for enjoying the views of the Atlantic Ocean and Shinnecock Bay.

"This has far and away the best view," said listing agent Rob Canberg of Nest Seekers International to Mansion Global in March. "You could go further east, but why would you spend that extra $20 million to $30 million for the same quality."

Mr. Canberg could not be reached for comment regarding the price cut.

The home also has a glass-enclosed elevator, 12-foot ceilings, a Calacatta marble kitchen, a wine cellar, a glass-enclosed media room, a fitness center and a two-car garage. Outside, and 28-feet above the sand dunes, you’ll find a heated saltwater infinity edge pool, multiple sundecks and an outdoor chef’s kitchen.

This house might be pricey, but it's got nothing on Fordune—a lavish estate in nearby Southampton that will soon be hitting the market for $175 million, making it the one of the most expensive homes on the market on the East Coast.
