Thousands of Elvis Presley fans descended on Graceland, his former mansion in Memphis, Tennessee, to commemorate the iconic singer and actor on the eve of the anniversary of his death, Aug. 16, 1977, 40 years ago Wednesday.
But for a diehard music lover with some cash to blow, there’s an even more intimate way to commune with The King—you can live like one in his former Beverly Hills mansion for $65,000 a month. The four-bedroom home in the posh Trousdale Estates neighborhood went up for sale in the fall asking $30 million and now, as of May, is also available for rent.

Presley lived in the single-story home on North Hillcrest Road from 1967 to 1973, just a few years before his death, according to the listing with Mauricio Umansky, founder and CEO of The Agency. Presley’s former neighborhood in the Los Angeles suburb was also home to contemporaries like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Ray Charles.
The single-story house, built in 1958, is a hybrid of French Regency and mid-century modern architecture with a sloping mansard roof paired with modern interior details, such as floor-to-ceiling glass walls and an open floor plan.
The property last changed hands in 2014 for $14.5 million, when Hard Rock Cafe founder Peter Morton sold it to a company belonging to Egyptian businessman Hamed El-Chiaty, according to property records.
A comparison of listing photos from 2014 and today shows the current owner hasn’t made any big superficial changes to the home in his three years of ownership.

The gated, 1.2-acre estate sits on a cliffside overlooking the city, meaning Presley could have caught some pretty impressive sunsets while lounging by the backyard pool.
The 5,367-square-foot residence has three bedrooms and five bathrooms, including a luxurious master suite, according to the listing. There’s also a skylight over the dining area, stone fireplaces and coffered ceilings.
